Although blessed with many talents, Pauline feels her greatest gift and passion is composing music. Her works are best defined as Neo-classical, defined as “The use of modern techniques within the classical form composing music that reflects one’s own compositional voice.” Her compositions have been performed by the Baltimore Symphony, Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, New West Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony, National Symphony at the Kennedy Center and at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Pauline has composed songs for TV and Film and her musicals have been produced by The Goodspeed Opera House, the LaMirada Theatre for the Performing Arts and the Baruch Theatre in NYC. As a singer/performer, she considers herself a 21st Century troubadour, defined as “a contemporary poet- musician.” As a rock singer, she performed under the alias “Raven Kane.” Her credits include singing on major motion pictures (Aladdin, Rent, Mermaids ...) performing/recording with many legendary artists including MUSE for the 2012 Olympics; Beck, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Willie Nelson, Leonard Cohen, Cher, and duets with Neil Diamond on his World Tour.
In solo concerts Pauline moves effortlessly from neo-classical piano pieces to romantic jazz and humorous theatrical songs and has brought cheering audiences to their feet with standing ovations at clubs and concert halls including the Troubadour in London, Carnegie Recital Hall in NYC and Thayer Hall in downtown L.A.
Pauline’s albums, including her 2022 release “Alchemy of Earth”, have debuted on Billboard’s Top Ten Classical and Classical Crossover charts. Her suite for symphony and ballet, “Tales of Winter” premiered in 2021 with the New West Symphony and the California Contemporary Ballet company and was performed in 2022 by the Channel Islands Chamber Orchestra.
Her music is currently being played in over 150 countries. Pauline won the Silver Award in three categories at the International W.A.M. Awards in 2021, the gold award for “Best Instrumental” in 2020, and 2 Gold Awards in 2022. Her music has over 20 million plays on the internet and has been #1 on the Reverbnation Classical charts for 4 years.
In 2021 Pauline was awarded the title “Ambassador for Peace through Music” by the Youth Education and Leadership Initiative (Y.E.L.I.) in Nigeria, Africa.
Humanitarian contributions include:
- Helping children during the 2003 San Bernadino,CA fires: “I set up an art and music area in the air plane hanger where the displaced families where staying. There they could draw and play music. I brought my portable keyboard and taught them songs. It made them feel more relaxed.
- During the Thomas Fires of 2018 I composed a piece “The Sacred Mountains of Ojai” that was then performed by the New West Symphony with painted visuals of the fires on a huge screen behind it. I donated any proceeds from music sales to the victims of the fire.
- Helped the Artists for Human Rights organization in raising the funds to put a school in India for women and girls from a lower caste which then put a real future there for them.
- Performed throughout Europe and in India bringing hope and joy to people through music.
- Produced the music and visuals for the first international Youth For Human Rights event in NYC with dignitaries represented from countries all over the world.
- Produced and performed numerous events for the Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR is a nonprofit mental health watchdog, protecting individuals from abusive or coercive practices.)
- Formed an L.A. children’s choir. They were then part of an event I helped to produce for an internationally televised event called “Our Song, Your Song” which included children’s choirs from Paris, Japan and Africa, all simultaneously filmed. Our choir was filmed on the steps of the Los Angeles Federal Building.
- Since 2015 I have been dedicating my talents to helping the planet by composing, performing and releasing beautiful music in great quantity into the world via radio and in-store radio in over 150 countries. As a result I receive messages from people like this one: “When I close my eyes and listen to your music, I don’t feel the pain from my cancer.”
- Was awarded the title “Ambassador for Peace through Music” by the Youth Education and Leadership Initiative (Y.E.L.I.) in Nigeria, Africa.

“The music is incredibly conversational. At times, the instruments dance together in lock-step fashion while other times, they burst apart. Branching out on their own into beautiful counterpoint melodies… Bluebird Park is a must-listen for music fans who love music regardless of genre. The piece is equal parts elegant, enthralling, and emotive and will leave you wanting to push play one more time.”

“Moonlight Sonata In The Solitary Hour” – it’d be hard to argue that this combination of songs is anything less that completely mesmerizing, enchanting, haunting, and stunningly beautiful – it’s all of these things and more, that I can promise you. Ever the professional, Pauline has put sincerity into every key her fingertips land on…she plays with exceptional technique and subtle passion, charming us every bit as much as capturing the sensational drama that this exquisite melody has to offer us all.”
~ JER, Sleeping Bag Studios
“a beautiful and passionate song… melodic double bass, performed by the one and only Stanley Clark, provides the rhythmic and low-end treatment, giving the song it’s forward sense of dreamlike motion… Pauline knows how to move the energy of her voice up and down like the waves of an ocean… luscious and expressive. “Love in the Afternoon” is a song that truly encompasses the feeling of true love, and it does so with such style and passion.”
~ Daniel Deprè, Please Pass the Indie

Another masterpiece by Frechette.”

“With this composition, Frechette finds a way to express the sorrow and fear that a disaster like the Thomas Fire can stir in a person. At the same time, however, the song expresses and honors the human spirit and its ability to meet a trying experience with courage and poise to keep the people and places we love safe.”

“Frechette utilizes sophisticated harmonies, well thought-out phrasing, and a wide spectrum of dynamics with grace and elegance.”
“…full of dynamics as she moves from a light touch to deeper and heavier moments, building and releasing tension as if the memories dancing through her fingers recall the light of love and the heaviness of losing a loved one. The melodies are both beautiful and tender…”
~ Matt Wong, Please Pass The Indie
“Pauline Frechette has managed to create one of those rare, serene songs that captures the melancholic beauty of a rapidly fading moment of bliss, and in doing so wins over the hearts of all her listeners.”
~ Ionas Finser, Please Pass The Indie
“The melodic content oscillates between mystery and comfort, longing and soothing.”
“We can often be happy in remembering the good times, and we can very often be sad because those good times are gone. The sudden changes in feeling throughout this piece really make that idea shine.”
~ Daniel Hoyt, Please Pass The Indie
“Pauline Frechette’s latest collection of neo-classical compositions reminds me of the first time I walked through the streets of Paris. Sure, I had an idea of what I would see, but there was nothing that could have prepared me for the fantastic and magical atmosphere of that city. Frechette’s work has a similar magic. It transports the listener to a higher plane and enriches the soul in a way that only great art can.”
~ Arthur Feinstein, Associated News
This track unfolds and reveals itself with immaculate grace and just a pinch of mystery, leading to a fantasy-laden sound in the music that plays as cleverly as the most compelling of stories. For as delicate and moving as the sound of “Jewel Box Fantasy” may appear at times, you’ll find this composition transitions perfectly, twisting the beauty into more intense melodies along the way… a definite highlight in Pauline’s already-impressive catalog of songs & further confirmation that when it comes to capturing the essence of classical music, she’s aces.”
